A Bronx resident for over forty years living twenty feet from the Cross Bronx expressway Vic now resides in sunny Florida eating subpar food and forced to listen to country music. He enjoys writing, softball, cooking and his trusty sidekick Irish wolfhound who regularly ignores him. Second interview with Jenell Diegor who was born in Cebu, Philippines the eldest child of geologist parents. At 15 years old she relocated with her family to Newfoundland, Canada, a place she called home for 15 years. During the mid-2000s in St. John’s, Newfoundland, and before the appearance of smartphones, she started a small adult-oriented cinematography business for couples who were looking to create their own private pornographic films. Jenell later worked at The Cotton Club, St. John’s premiere gentleman’s bar as a versatile staff member, performing different functions at the club including coat check/door, bartender at the Sports Bar, Main Bar and VIP Bar and DJ. For a time she was also in charge of booking entertainers and maintaining the entertainers’ guest house. In 2012, Jenell left the adult entertainment industry and relocated to Toronto, Canada. She has written several short fiction and travel guidebooks, with the latter stemming from her own research and experienced with world travels. Jenell has created and maintains 5 online video courses in Egyptology. Along with that effort, she is trying her hand at film making, starting with fiction and documentary short films. Her latest work, Dear Dylan, has been shown and has won awards at several festivals all over the world, including the Los Angeles Film Awards. Her short documentary, Solo Female Traveler, was shown at the the 6th Annual iPhone Film Festival. The Reel Erotic Art Film Festival is a joint effort by Jenell and The Cotton Club. They aim to celebrate the erotic arts in a way that has never been done before in Newfoundland, by offering to show films that are erotic in nature with meaningful storylines. The Cotton Club, the festival’s venue, was erected in 1861 and is one of the city’s historical buildings. It was previously used as a church and then as a school before moving on to business endeavours. The stone theatre features a two-story pole, a shower, stage, an upstairs VIP section and an executive lounge area which overlooks the entire bar.
